CANADIENS LOOK TO BEST DRAFT PICK IN 32 YEARS

Unless they go into an unexpected winning streak, under current draft lottery rules, the Canadiens will be drafting somewhere in the top four at the NHL’s entry draft June 27th in Pittsburgh. If so, they will be making their highest selection since 1980 when they drafted Doug Wickenheiser of the Regna Pats.
