Rookie defenseman Greg Pateryn suffered a fractured elbow in Friday night’s game against Rochester and will be out of the Hamilton Bulldogs lineup indefinitely.

CANADIENS SIGN GREG PATERYN TO TWO YEAR CONTRACT-Out of U. of Michigan

The Canadiens acquired the rights to defenceman Greg Pateryn as part of the trade that sent the troublesome Mikhail Grabovski to Toronto three years ago. The Canadiens were prepared to wait for Pateryn who was completing his degree at the University of Michigan. With his college career ended, Wednesday the Canadiens finally got 6’2″ 212 lb. defender to signed to a two year dentry level contract effective the beginning of next season.
