P.K. Subban was not at the Canadiens Brossard training facility when their six day camp opened Sunday morning. Subban is locked in a contract stalemate, apparently looking for a long term deal that the Canadiens are not prepared to offer at this stage in his career.

The NHL released it’s 2012-2013 schedule this week and the Canadiens will have their hands full avoiding a repeat of last season when they opened with seven losses in their first eight games. It was a losing streak that set the tone for, and ultimately destroyed their season. Also, Carey Price will go to arbitration and Pierre McGuire would trade Subban.

After winning four of the six monthly segments, Carey Price is the Canadiens Molson Cup winner for the 2011-2012 season. Erik Cole finished second and Max Pacioretty third in voting based on fan three star voting throughout the season. Cole was named the monthly winner for March.



A COLLISION WITH DESHARNAIS CAUSED CAREY PRICE “HEADACHE”

David Desharnais has admitted he caused Carey Price’s headache. During practice last Thursday at Brossard, Desharnais collided with Price in the goalmouth and fell on top of him, his ribs making contact with Price’s facemask and Price hitting his head on the ice.



CAREY PRICE HAS A CONCUSSION?- Could Miss Season’s Final Three Games

Goaltender Carey Price may have suffered a concussion last week. The Canadiens medical staff confirmed that Price is suffering from headaches and will be evaluated later in the week. He was unable to practice Monday. He last played, on Friday in the 4-1 loss at Madison Square Garden.
