KOSTITSYN BROTHERS BACK IN THE NEWS

Both Kostitsyn brothers are playing for Belarus a the World Championships this week. Andrei was throwin out of Canada’s 5-1 win over Belarus Tuesday for boarding Evander Kane. Brother Sergei made news on this side of the Atlantic after making it known he’s looking for a long term contract as he enters restricted free agency, a request that appears to be greeted by a lukewarm response from Predators management.

Mont consider it a failure despite the fact that he finished the year only five points behind his team leading total of 57 points of the year before. The big difference is his five-on-five defensive record. Plekanec’s problem’s stemmed from an inability to find the right kind of forwards to play with him.
