Jeff Halpern Will Replace Benoit Pouliot on Lars Eller Line

Jacques Martin has seen enough of Benoit Pouliot.  Or maybe it’s not enough of him.  In his three playoff games Pouliot has attempted only one shot and it was blocked.  He’s seen his ice time drop from over seven minutes the first two games against Boston to just over three minutes after he took a bad charging penalty in game three.

So.  Enter Jeff Halpern.  He of the lower body injury that has kept him out of eleven of the last fifteen games.  Halpern replaced Pouliot on the line with Lars Eller and Travis Moen in practice this morning.  The other lines are intact.

If it remains the same at gametime tomorrow we can expect the Canadiens to start game four this way.
