Game Notes -

..20-goal scorer Tomas Plekanec will not be in the Canadiens lineup. He is back in Montreal attending to family matters.

..Roberto Luongo will not be in goal for Florida. He suffered a neck injury in a goalmouth collision Thursday against Carolina. Dan Ellis will replace him.

.The Canadiens have won four in a row including road wins in Boston, Toronto and Boston. They have won seven of the last eight taking 14 of a possible 16 points.

.At the same time the Tampa Bay Lightning have also earned 14 of a possible 16 points their last eight games. Tampa plays Buffalo Saturday night. They are two points behind the Canadiens but hold two games in hand.

.The Canadiens are looking to match their season-long winning streak of five games Nov. 30 to Dec 7th.
