Game Notes -

..The Bruins snapped a five game losing streak to the Candiens on March 12th at the Bell Centre. Since then the canadiens are 4-1-0.

….The Bruins have lost three straight at home to the Canadiens.   

..The Canadiens arrived in Boston early Sunday morning following their win over Toronto. The Bruins spent Sunday travelling from Phoenix.

..The Bruins will be playing their 5th game in 8 days, the last three on the road.

..The Bruins’ 12-game winning streak is their longest since a 13 game run at the height of their Bobby Orr era, the 1970-71 season. The franchise record is 14, set in 1929-30.

.During the streak Boston has outscored opponents 47-17. Their GAA is 1.41. They have shutout opponents in 21 of the last 36 regulation periods

.Tuukka Rask is 7-0-0 with a 1.55GAA and .946 save% and one shutout in the streak while backup Chad Johnson is 5-0-0 with 1.20GAA and .954. In ten of the 12 games they’ve allowed two goals or fewer.

….Among all NHL goaltenders with 50 or more games Rask is first in save percentage with a .929 save%
