Michael Ryder returned to Canadiens practice Monday morning and will be available to the team when they play Buffalo at the Bell Centre Tuesday. He practiced with the team on Friday but did not make the trip to New Jersey for Saturday night’s game against the Devils.
He practiced Monday with his regular linemates Tomas Plekanec and Brian Gionta. With Ryder’s return, Travis Moen drops back to the fourth line with Colby Armstrong and Ryan White and Mike Blunden will join Tomas Kaberle as healthy scratches for Tuesday’s game.

Raphael Diaz is not permitted to return to the ice. He is maintaining fitness in the Brossard Centre gym.
