RYDER PRACTICES WITH CANADIENS-Returns to Lineup Tuesday vs. Buffalo

Michael Ryder returned to Canadiens practice Monday morning and will be available to the team when they play Buffalo at the Bell Centre Tuesday. Ryder suffered an undisclosed injury in the second period of Wednesday’s game against Ottawa. He practiced with the team on Friday but did not make the trip to New Jersey for Saturday night’s game against the Devils.
He practiced Monday with his regular linemates Tomas Plekanec and Brian Gionta. With Ryder’s return, Travis Moen drops back to the fourth line with Colby Armstrong and Ryan White and Mike Blunden will join Tomas Kaberle as healthy scratches for Tuesday’s game.
Brandon Prust (shoulder), Rene Bourque (concussion) and Yannick Weber (knee) skated on the Brossard Centre secondary ice surface under the supervision of conditioning coach Pierre Allard. There is no timetable for their return although when he suffered his shoulder injury March 10th, doctors estimated Prust would be out of action between ten days and two weeks.
Raphael Diaz is not permitted to return to the ice. He is maintaining fitness in the Brossard Centre gym.
