Raphael Diaz suffered a concussion somewhere along the way in Monday night’s game against the Ottawa Senators. He will miss Wednesday night’s game against the Leafs in Toronto. The seriousness of the injury has yet to be determined.
Diaz practiced with his teammates Tuesday morning without difficulty. He experienced dizziness Tuesday night at the team’s Toronto hotel.
Tomas Kaberle will replace him in the Habs lineup. Kaberle has been a healthy scratch in the twelve games since February second when he was part of a 5-1 win over Buffalo.
Diaz is the third member of the team to suffer a concussion. Brendan Gallagher missed eight days earlier this month and Rene Bourque will miss his fourth straight game.
