Right wing Brendan Gallagher could return to the Canadiens lineup as early as Saturday’s game against the New York Rangers. Gallagher suffered what can now be termed a minor concussion when he was slammed against the Bell Centre glass by the Flyers Braydon Schenn last Saturday night. He has missed three games.
Gallagher took part in full practice Friday back on a line with David Desharais and Max Pacioretty. If team doctors clear him to play, he will probably play with them against the Rangers. Erik Cole would again be bumped down to a line with Lars Eller and Alex Galchenyuk.
