Rochester outshot Hamilton 49-30. David Leggio recorded his second shutout of the season. It was the seventh time the Bulldogs have been shut out this year. Dustin Tokarski made his second start in the Hamilton nets since being acquired from Tampa Bay last Thursday and faced the most shots given up by the team this season.
Brayden McNabb scored what turned out to be the winning goal on a first period power play. Luke Adam scored the other one.The Americans are 1-6-1 after eight of twelve scheduled meetings between the clubs this season.
The Bulldogs, who are in the midst of a ten game home stand will host Rochester again on Friday. Although a home game for Hamilton, it will be played at Montreal’s Bell Centre. Rochester is affiliated with the Buffalo Sabres.
