There’s a stomach virus going around and it’s caught up with Carey Price.  He’ll be forced to stay home tonight when the Canadiens play the Philadelphia Flyers.

Peter Budaj will get his third  start of the season with Hamilton Bulldogs goaltender Robert Mayer on the bench as his backup.   Budaj is 0-1-1 this season.  His goals against average is 4.32.

Head coach Michel  Therrien continues to make changes designed to pump up the offensive production  of both Max Pacioretty and Erik Cole.   Rookie Brendan Gallagher has been moved up to play on a line with Pacioretty and David Desharnais.  Cole will skate with Brandon Prust and Alex  Galchenyuk.
