GALCHENYUK & COLLBERG FACE EACH OTHER IN WORLD JUNIOR FINAL

The Canadiens first and second round 2012 draft picks will be facing each other when Sweden plays the USA for the 2013 World Junior Hockey Championship Saturday.

Sebastian Collberg – Sweden

Alexander Galchenyuk, chosen third overall in the June entry draft, will be in the lineup for the USA.  The Americans upset Canada 5-1 Thursday while Sebastian Collberg, picked 33rd overall, will be part of the Swedish team that reached the final by edging Russia 3-2 in a shootout.

Collberg scored the only goal in the shootout to break a 2-2 tie against Russia.  After five games in the tournament Collberg is tied for the Swedish team scoring lead with 4 goals and 2 assists in five games.

Galchenyuk is tied for second in scoring for the USA with 2  goals and 6 assists in  six games.   He failed to get a point in the game against Canada.
