BULLDOGS SHUT OUT IN CLEVELAND SATURDAY

The Hamilton Bulldogs were shut out 4-0 by the  Lake Erie Monsters in Cleveland Saturday night.  Hamilton has now lost six of it’s last seven games.

Bulldogs goaltender  Cedrick Desjardins kept the game close until the third period.  Final shots on goal were 47-17 in favour of Cleveland including 22-4 in the first period.   Desjardins  stopped 37 of  41 shots before he  was mercifully removed in favour of Robert Mayer for the game’s final twelve minutes.

The Bulldogs move on to Rochester to play the Americans on New Year’s Eve.  January 2nd they are in Toronto.
