BULLDOGS LOSE 5-2 VS. SAN ANTONIO SATURDAY

Scoring the first goal of the game is a rarety for the Hamilton Bulldogs.   Saturday night at Copps Colisem in Hamilton the Bulldogs scored the first two goals but then allowed the San Antonio Rampage to roar back with five in a row to win the game 5-2.  It was the Bulldogs fourth loss in a row.

Drew Shore broke a 2-2 tie early in the third period, scoring what was the eventual game winner on a power play early in the third period, one of two scored by the Rampage with the man advantage.

The Bulldogs are now idle through the Christmas break.  Their next game will be Boxing Day at Toronto.

Casey Wellman had one goal and two assists, Greg Rallo contributed one goal and one assist and Jon Rheault and Alex Petrovic also scored for the Rampage.

Gabriel Dumont and Mike Blunden scored for the Bulldogs.   Goaltender Cedrick Desjardins stopped 39 of 44 shots.

It was the first win for San Antonio since December ninth.  The Rampage are affiliated with the Florida Panthers.
