HABS IN EUROPE TUESDAY-Eller/Diaz/Desharnais

Eller, who is centering a line with Boston’s Rich Peverley and Montreal native Eric Perrin, added two more assists to his total. The line recorded six scoring points and an extraordinary 19 shots of Jyväskylä’s 50 shots on Lahti goaltender Ondrej Pavelec. Perrin had eight shots, Peverley six and Eller five.
In five games with Jyväskylä, Eller has four goals and four assists.
David Desharnais, Raphael Diaz and Yannick Weber were in action with their Swiss National League teams Tuesday.
Diaz scored a goal and an assist and recorded four shots as Zug edged Davos 5-4 at Davos. Diaz has an active seven game points scoring streak with three goals and five assists over that stretch. He is the SNL’s highest scoring defenceman with 24 points in 23 games (6 goals, 18 assists). Detroit’s Henrik Zetterberg had three assists in the game for Zug.
Desharnais scored his first goal as Fribourg beat the Lions 7-4 at Zurich. In five games Desharnais has a goal and two assists.
No points for Weber in Geneva’s 2-1 win against the Lakers at Rapperswil. Weber did produce three shots on goal. In 23 games, Weber has 3 goals and 14 assists for the Eagles who lead second place Zurich by six points in the league standings. Zug is third followed by Fribourg. Three points separate second and fourth place.
The KHL teams of Alexei Emelin and Andrei Markov are scheduled to play Wednesday. Markov has missed the last seven games with a rib injury. In the Czech Republic First Division, Kladno and Tomas Plekanec will play Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad) on Thursday in the Czech League.
