Thats cuz your biased curtis ;)

Budaj is the hot tender in Montreal, and that is a problem. The habs fans will destroy budaj, like I think they have destroyed price (not to mention Theodore and thibault). Habs fans are waiting for Patrick Roy to return, but it will never return. No goalie in the league will ever have as much pressure as the goalie wearing the CH. vezina, plant, hainsworth, Dryden, Roy. Tough shoes to fill. Especially when you have millions of habs fans comparing you to legends. If tokarski came up, and was good, he would have the same pressure. I don't think the habs will ever be what they were, and they will never get the same tending. It takes a special breed to withstand millions of people criticizing your every play, and the tender is always the goat. Price has sucked, but so has the rest of the team. But price is the one getting blamed for losing a game 6-1. Price had to have a shut out to win the last game. I feel sorry for price. I see a tender who could have been great on a team like new jersey or any other smaller market team. Instead I'm seeing a goalie fold under pressure, like all the others have since Roy left town. Hell, habs fans were demanding Roy be traded in 92-93. Then looked at what happened. Can you imagine what would happen if bergivin traded price, and he won? Two million fans collectively would be crying about how we traded him. I believe if habs fans let their tender have bad games without demanding he be traded, we may get some better tending. I support carey price. He has some bad games, sure. Look at the season rinne and quick had. Miller wasn't amazing either. These are vezina nominated goalies, all older than price. Too much was put on price too early, and I think it has ruined him.

I know but mayer is also brought up,almost a 3.00 gaa,and they will give him more consideration than a well rounder netminder who in my opinion is better than price, sure he played well Friday but I think we all know how he will play tonight, and if he falls apart again and we lose out in the first round,i wonder if berg will deal price away, considering budaj signed for the next 2 seasons and is the hot goalie for montreal..

The Ryan White goal appears to have gotten under Karlsson's skin so much the Sens defenseman wasn't the same for the remaider of the game. Not a big fan of Carey Price..... that said... the guy really deserved the first star he played a solid game and demonstrated real grit skating to his bench with a tooth in hand....after the game he commented his performance....happy no soft goals went in !!!! his confidence still appears to be shaky... Just hope the coaching staff can have their number 1 ready for Sunday's game.

Yes, lets replace price with an ahl goalie that posted similar stats, and unproven in the NHL. Too bad the simular stats were in the ahl, and not the nhl. Tokarski may be solid in the ahl, but a 1-3-1 in seven games with a 3.50 gaa and an .870 save percentage doesn't give me confidence goin into the playoffs. However, I was hoping to get a look at him next year. That is until budaj resigned. Maybe tokarski will sign a two year two way with the habs, an he will get some time in a couple years with the new look habs.
